The winning project, Banks on the Yarra, is a luxury residence in Abbotsford, Melbourne, that required a highly customised lift solution to suit a narrow central shaft space. Our team delivered a beautifully integrated Eltec HLG home elevator, custom-built to complement the architecture and enhance everyday living for the homeowners.

About the Project: “Banks on the Yarra”
Located just minutes from Melbourne’s CBD, Banks on the Yarra is a premium residential home designed to balance style, comfort and long-term liveability. With a confined installation area and a need for a visually striking centrepiece, the Eltec HLG became the perfect solution.
The lift was positioned at the heart of the home and paired with Eltec’s TA Freestanding glass lift shaft, allowing natural light to flow throughout the space while creating a bold architectural feature.
The elevator features a Big Vision automatic sliding door with full glass framed in stainless steel, complemented by Stop Sol Silver Glass cabin wall panels, a mirror-finished stainless-steel ceiling with four downlights and a full-height control panel powder coated in RAL 9005 Semi-Gloss. It is paired with a glass lift shaft finished in 9005S Nero Semi Lucido with clear glass panels, and completed with custom timber flooring crafted specifically by the client.
These selections created a seamless blend of sophistication, transparency and architectural presence, turning the lift into a statement piece that elevates the entire home.
